October Beginnings
Are mine the only children that get sick the day before their well child check-ups? Stella is producing sneezes to make anyone gag. Her check up went great this morning though. 25th percentile for everything but weight, there she's 10th.
If you follow me on facebook, you have already seen some of these photos. The one above was just before we needed to leave for church one Sunday. I was on the verge of choosing impatience with the raspberry preserves in Stella's freshly washed hair. I chose to embrace the mess with the camera. Whew. Close call!
Our nephew, Zach, stayed with us for the last 5 days. We had such a great time sharing our home with him. He attended the fantastical conference here in town. He also got to sit in on a philosophy class this morning. Now I know why the moms of teenagers stay up late. That's when all the great conversation happens!
We've been wearing long sleeves and socks! Such a fun change for fall:
My headaches have been, at least temporarily, been tamed. Maybe I just need to sleep more... Let's praise God together for that. He is good and delights in us! With the headaches gone, I've been able to spend more time in the garden!
